What is Giving Tuesday? Giving Tuesday is a global day of generosity celebrated annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving — on December 3rd this year. It encourages individuals, communities, and organizations to come together and support causes that are meaningful to them. It’s a time to give back and make a difference in the lives of others, whether through donations, volunteer work, or other acts of kindness.

This Giving Tuesday, we are reaching out to our wonderful CHS Community to ask for your support. Your generous donations to the CHS Home & School Association help fund essential programs, activities, and resources — like Cougar Cares. Our children greatly benefit from the diversity of our towns, but the hard truth is that it can also create inequity in the high school experience. Cougar Cares works hard to ensure access to the full range of opportunities at CHS for students experiencing financial hardship. Your donations help the CHS HSA expand that support.

Every gift, big or small, makes a difference and helps us continue supporting our students and teachers. On this Giving Tuesday, we hope you’ll consider making a donation to the HSA and join us in enhancing the CHS experience: Cougar Cares, Grads Return, Free SAT/ACT Diagnostic Tests, Class Celebrations, Beautification Projects, Teacher Appreciation Events and SO MUCH MORE!

We are so grateful for the CHS Community's support in helping make the HSA a strong, impactful organization.

Many employers offer matching gift programs — please check with your employer to double the impact of your donation.
