MIDNIGHT MADNESS | CLASS OF 2026
Class of 2026 Families! You should have received emails last week from Mr. McCormick and the HSA outlining everything you need to know about Midnight Madness in June. If you didn't get a chance to check it out yet, read our letter to families to learn how MM works and what to expect in the coming months.
Questions? midnightmadness@columbiahsa.
WINTER IS (STILL) HERE
Can you help restock the Coffee + Tea Station in the Counseling Department? It's available to all teachers and staff to enjoy whenever they need a pick-me-up during the school day. The station is running low on tea bags and K-Cup coffee pods. (All roasts, all flavors, all blends, a variety is great! Mostly regular, but decaf, too.)
Plus, lots and lots of boxes of tissues, please! It's still sniffle season ... keeping those germs contained as much as possible helps everyone stay healthy.
Donations can be dropped off at CHS (look for a box just inside the Main Entrance) or shop the wish list online (select "Renee Florio/CHS Counseling" as the shipping address).
Thank you for helping our teachers and students get through this extra-intense winter!

NIGHTS OF 100 DINNERS
It's not too late to be part of Achieve's Nights of 100 Dinners! The Achieve Foundation is bringing back its beloved community fundraiser, Nights of 100 Dinners. They have 22 events (everything from murder-mystery dinners and fondue parties to family-friendly celebrations and elegant sit-down dinners) scheduled throughout the month of March — can you help meet their goal of 25? It's not too late to sign on as a host!
Hosting isn't your thing? Everyone is invited to support by attending a community yoga class at Three Birds Yoga Studio on Sunday 3/8 at 12:30pm and/or a self defense seminar at NJ Tae Kwon Do on Sunday 3/22 at 5pm. In addition, some of the hosts are opening their parties to a limited number of community members. If you'd like to be matched with one of these events, please reach out to 100dinners@achievefoundation.org.
No matter how you choose to get involved, funds raised support grants for educators, free tutoring for students, STEAM and arts education, and innovative and educationally enriching programs districtwide. Learn more here.
